I came in with primarily dizziness issues, which was honestly hell to deal with, especially while trying to sleep. Felt like I was gonna pass out sometimes, and it made daily activities much more tense than they needed to be, not to mention spurring on panic attacks. My wife found this office and set me up to try it out, and honestly I wasn’t sure how that could help the issue. However, this isn’t just some massage place: there are X-rays and scans and treatment plans. There’s even ultrasonic treatments for spurring stem cell growth to repair injuries. It’s a full-on healthcare facility, they’re just trying to improve the body’s own defense symptoms instead of handing you some pills to mask the problem and send you on your way. I’ve been receiving treatment from Dr. Thompson for probably half a year now, and things are a lot better. The dizziness is gone, and certainly my back feels better, which must have been uncomfortable for so long that I didn’t realize there was even a problem. Pain just becomes normal after long enough, I guess. Anyway, he fixed it, which is the important part. They also have nights where Dr. Thompson will give presentations on healthier living, a newsletter with information on threats to your health, and just an overall great approach to healthcare. I wasn’t able to get out of bed, open my eyes for extended periods of time, or operate a vehicle some days. It wasn’t until I completely lost vision in both eyes that I decided to do something about it. My optometrist recommended Dr. Nathan’s office, so off I went. My husband and I were both skeptics to chiropractors, but I didn’t have a choice at that point. After 3 visits, I wasn’t having migraines anymore. When I went in on my second visit, Dr. Thompson worked some magic and literally adjusted me and the migraine was gone.

I have never been so educated on how the spine and nervous system work. They don’t just “crack your back”. They explain what they’re doing and why it’s important to have everything in alignment.

The results after just one treatment are miraculous. So I said I will rest the weekend and wear my back brace. Well, Monday morning came and I could not go to work. I called Alan and they fit me right in the same day. My wife had to drive me and I barely could walk. This is when Alan suggested the soft tissue therapy. At this point I would have done anything to ease the pain.
Remember the miracle on ice back in 1980... well it happened that day. Five minutes later I was walking up and down the hallway. Now I was not 100% but I up and going.
I can try tell you how great the staff is at Alan Nathans office and the care you receive but my words would not be enough.

A co-worker suggested I try a chiropractor for my back pain so I did some research, found Dr. Nathans and decided to make an appointment, best decision I've ever made. After my first adjustment I felt immediate relief not only from my back pain but also from a lot of my chronic illnesses. I never realized how important a healthy spine and nervous system were to my overall health. I have been battling these issues for years and after only 3 weeks here my body is healing and I have never felt better mentally and physically. I feel less fatigued and have more energy.

Somehow what started as a knot in my mid-back became quite painful over many weeks. I tried all kinds of stretching, foam rollers, hot and cold pads and even my CrossFit athlete son-in-law’s heavy-duty muscle massager. Nothing would relieve the pain. I went at least four weeks with no more than two hours sleep at a time because I could not find a sleeping position without the pain. I couldn’t sleep with a pillow or on my side at all.
Finally, I contacted Dr. Nathans after I heard about him from several relatives. Dr. Nathans gave me a thorough consultation and started me with a combination of chiropractic and massage treatments. Within the first two visits I started to get relief and it continued to get better. After a month, the pain was gone. I now keep a reduced schedule of maintenance visits to keep my back flexible and make sure that pain never returns.

As someone who is no stranger to chiropractic care, I can tell you there is defiantly a difference in the chiropractor. From the beginning, we mapped out a plan to better my neck and spine. I have seen chiropractors in the past, but usually (since adulthood) for a quick fix to help alleviate a migraine or bad headache, which I had regularly. This was the first time that there was a plan and I was willing to commit the time and energy it would take. That is because of the way Dr. Nathans treats his patients. Dr. Nathans is genuinely passionate about what he does and it shows.

My headaches have lessened drastically, to the point where I can’t remember when I had one. I realize that there isn’t a quick fix and I am so glad that I decided to make this commitment to my health.

Even though I started my mornings fairly ok, by 10 AM my neck hurt so much that I literally had to hold my head to relieve the pain. Now that's a thing of the past, and Chiropractic care to me is now as as essential as drinking water. After experiencing my own improvement I now bring my daughter who has Autism and my 84 year old aunt who had chronic neck pain and headaches. My body is always taking a beating as life is complicated for me; so being in his care is a must. My life before it was not fun at all. before I used to have back pain. I remember that I could dance the zouk very well, and when the pain came I could not do anything about dancing in the same way and doing activities with my back, it was so hard for me that I started to avoid bending over. Sunday night I was dancing and I said let me play zouk, I danced so well, I could bend over and go all the way down, I was so happy that I was shouting "Vive” Dr. Alan Nathan - ha-ha. I came into this with some knowledge of chiropractic background, along with living a healthy lifestyle and overall wellbeing - so I knew what my goals were and what I wanted out of this. I did not expect my initial lab results to be so bad, especially for my age! I am 33 years old suffering from multiple autoimmune diseases, such as lupus and RA - which are the 2 main culprits which produce the most amount of chronic pain for me. Before coming here, I always felt cramped in my own body. Like I needed someone to pull me apart, stretch me out, and straighten me out! I have been to more doctors in the past 10 years than I can even remember. Been put on even more medications than that! After a couple weeks of Dr Nathans treatment, I can't tell you how much better I felt, almost instantly. My pain levels have gone down tremendously and my spasms in my back are almost nonexistent. I still have a ways to go, which is exciting for me, because to think this much progress has been made, and I still have a ways to go - well it's just incredible! I would recommend Dr. Nathans - for all the reasons above - but primarily, for one very important reason. When I first met him, it was for my baby girl's appointment. And he said something to me, that meant so much, in a world where medical doctors always seem to be so cold with their patients anymore. He said "Thank you for trusting me". And he was so sincere about it. I thought "wow. it means that much to him that he actually said that to me". Since then, Dr Nathans has always been respectful of my wishes, patient with my reservations, and always willing to educate me on the things I need done, in order to obtain those goals, that I set in the beginning. I have already referred him to many of my friends who may not quite be ready to make the leap, but I know in my heart, that I am right where I am supposed to be - and I will continue to spread the word on Dr Nathans amazing work, to everyone I know!

After experiencing numbness and tingling in my toes I went to my usual chiropractor, as I had a feeling it was nerve related.
After a few movements and unproductive treatments, I decided to go to Dr. Nathans because a friend had told me about his state-of-the arts testing and diagnosing. After reviewing my results he made his diagnostic conclusion and and what needed to be done. Immediately the tingling and numbness stopped.
Now, when I start to feel the symptoms I just go in for a quick adjustment and it's taken care.
I can't imagine if I hadn't found him. Such a simple fix and I wonder how many people are dealing with issues like that for their entire adult lives, not knowing that the answer doesn't lie in medicine and drugs, but in a simple chiropractic adjustment. read less - 1/18/2018

I have never been to a Chiropractor until prior to my surgery. I am now convience that this treatment works! I had headaches and back stiffness for many years. After my visit with Dr. Nathan, I have relief, and have recommended him to several of my friends. Dr. Nathan is a very caring Dr. that has a gift with his hands and touch. I have been a patient of Dr. Nathans since he first started in practice . I have been very happy with the treatments and care he has given me all these years. A few years ago it was determined that I have a genetic problem with my bones that required extensive surgery including fusion of five vertebrae. I thought this would keep me from having any more chiropractic treatments. As time went on ( five years), I started to have more pain. I went to Dr Nathans and he was able to adjust me with out causing any problems with the areas of surgery. SO YOU CAN STILL GET HELP AFTER SURGERY! It is wonderful to get relief even after surgery .
