Before being his patient, I really didn't have a good perception of what Chiropractic care really meant. Actually, I first approached Dr. Nathan's office because another parent had recommended that I took my son who has Cerebral Palsy to him. I came into this with some knowledge of chiropractic background, along with living a healthy lifestyle and overall wellbeing - so I knew what my goals were and what I wanted out of this. I did not expect my initial lab results to be so bad, especially for my age! I am 33 years old suffering from multiple autoimmune diseases, such as lupus and RA - which are the 2 main culprits which produce the most amount of chronic pain for me. Before coming here, I always felt cramped in my own body. Like I needed someone to pull me apart, stretch me out, and straighten me out! I have been to more doctors in the past 10 years than I can even remember. Been put on even more medications than that! After a couple weeks of Dr Nathans treatment, I can't tell you how much better I felt, almost instantly. My pain levels have gone down tremendously and my spasms in my back are almost nonexistent. I still have a ways to go, which is exciting for me, because to think this much progress has been made, and I still have a ways to go - well it's just incredible! I have a history of... read moreI’m so happy that I found Dr. Nathans and discovered the benefits of chiropractic care. I have a history of severe migraines and dizzy spells related to vertigo. Before chiropractic care, I never knew when these crippling symptoms would sneak up. I spent many days lying in bed, unable to move, because the pain and dizziness were so debilitating. Since beginning chiropractic care, my migraines and dizzy spells are being managed and are under control. I have gone more than a year without an episode and feel like I can be more active and productive. I have been a patient of Dr. Nathans since he first started in practice . I have been very happy with the treatments and care he has given me all these years. A few years ago it was determined that I have a genetic problem with my bones that required extensive surgery including fusion of five vertebrae. I thought this would keep me from having any more chiropractic treatments. As time went on ( five years), I started to have more pain. I went to Dr Nathans and he was able to adjust me with out causing any problems with the areas of surgery. SO YOU CAN STILL GET HELP AFTER SURGERY! It is wonderful to get relief even after surgery . My daughter had been living with back and neck pain, even though we had been seeking chiropractic care elsewhere. As a massage therapist, I wasn't even able to help her shoulders, neck or low back because the pain was simply too intense. Dr. Nathans was recommended to us from a close and dear friend, and finally today, my daughter is able to say she is pain free. Our whole family is on its way to better health and well being.
