Eight years ago, as I was approaching my 40's, I found myself battling with severe low back pain & sciatica. I couldn’t ride in a car or sit in a chair longer than 10 minutes. The pain brought me to tears daily and all I knew to do at the time was to go see my primary care doctor. They took X-rays and I was told that I had degenerative disc disease. The doctor said that was just a fancy word for arthritis and prescribed me pain pills, muscle relaxers & anti-inflammatories. I asked what kind of treatment would be available and they said I didn’t need to worry about any type of treatment until I was about 60 years old. 

Living on pain pills, muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatories for the next 20 years sounded ridiculous to me. But, I gave it a shot anyway. I found that the medications did nothing to relieve my pain and actually just led to more symptoms like nausea, constipation, drowsiness & and cognitive issues. Being sick & tired of being sick & tired, I immediately started researching holistic approaches to healing my body. I found my way into Chiropractic Care, and shortly after was introduced to Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression. Because I stopped taking the meds and found a solution in chiropractic care and non-surgical spinal decompression, I made a full recovery and it changed the whole course of my future! 

Living without pain allowed me to live life without limits. I set out on a cross country trip as a full time RV'er. Setting off on this new adventure, I was not sure what my future held but I trusted The Lord would lead me on the right path. I found my way through about 17 states from California, all the way to Jacksonville, FL where I stumbled upon Dr Nathans & Nathans Family Chiropractic.  

Having a professional background in Finance, Sales & Marketing, but also having a passion for helping others, I decided to forego my full time RV travels to become a Chiropractic Assistant and quickly moved up to becoming the Office Manager. I feel blessed for the opportunity to work at a World Class – No Needle, Regenerative Clinic where I truly get to witness miracles happen daily!!
